Meet Our Therapists
Dr. Samimy is a clinical psychologist specializing in trauma, PTSD, and anxiety in adults. She recognizes the many ways in which traumatic experiences can upend daily life — disrupting sleep, mood, self-esteem, and relationships — and how anxiety can quietly shrink the world we're able to inhabit. Depression often adds another layer, making it harder to find the energy to engage with life at all.
Her approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has specialized training in evidence-based treatments for PTSD, including Prolonged Exposure, Written Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
She completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at The Ohio State University and received advanced training in trauma and stress at VA Boston and the Salem VA.
Dr. Samimy's style is warm, collaborative, and genuinely curious — she wants to understand who you are and how you've arrived at this moment. As a bi-racial (Asian and Middle Eastern) therapist and daughter of immigrants, she sees the exploration of identity as a meaningful part of the therapeutic process, and actively makes space for conversations about race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and other aspects of who you are.

Dr. Lo is a clinical psychologist who helps people navigate some of life's hardest moments — whether that's anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, or significant life transitions. His specialty is supporting individuals coping with health-related challenges, including adjusting to a serious illness or caring for someone who is.
He uses evidence-based, acceptance-based approaches, tailoring each treatment to the person in front of him. His goal is to create a space that feels both supportive and genuinely productive — one where you build real skills and experience meaningful change.
Dr. Lo is a clinical researcher and instructor at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Brigham, where he studies how to best support people coping with cancer. He completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at The Ohio State University and received advanced training in health psychology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Rush University Medical Center.
